Building Community in Grade 1
It’s the beginning of the school year, and the Grade One class is building their classroom community with some getting-to-know-you activities. Including a ‘Someone Who’ scavenger hunt to learn about each other and a self-portrait art activity connected with our Name Game unit.

This week’s letter focus was Mm! The SK’s did a marvellous job at practicing their D’Nelian letter formation, and making some scary monster M’s! With the help of our trusty friends StoryBots they also made a great word list of learned words.
