After gaining an understanding of what it means to be courageous for their Courage Unit, the Grade 2s made posters about the person they believe to be the most courageous person. A few students shared their posters at our school assembly.

During the Grade One’s first field trip, students participated in an Edventure program at the Metro Toronto Zoo to explore: Needs, Senses, & Characteristics of Living Things. We also toured the zoo in small groups to meet some of the animals and gather information for an activity connected to our Unit of Inquiry: The Name Game.

Grade 5s use their critical thinking skills to write meaningful and deep questions to an article about Waymo being brought to Toronto.
