Check out these portraits! Senior Kindergarten explored different Picasso art, and practised by making their own Picasso inspired self-portrait. Using dice, and the “roll a Picasso” guidelines they each created a unique portrait. They then traced in sharpie and painted in watercolor.

In Grade 1, throughout our “My House” unit, we’ve been learning about parts of a house, rooms, and furniture. For this activity, students had the opportunity to draw their own houses and label them.

Each student in Grade 1 is given a template showing an example of a solid, a liquid, and a gas. They then use Cheerios to model how molecules are arranged and move in each state of matter.
