It has been a fantastic last week of school with so many events like: Track and Field meets, butterfly release, tree trekking, soccer mania, and the grade 6 graduation. It has been a wonderful year at SBS. Have a great and relaxing summer.

Celebrating Pride at SBS where everyone is welcome! “Love is Love” means that love is something to celebrate and respect. No matter who someone is, or who someone loves, everyone deserves kindness, acceptance, and the freedom to be themselves. We created the Pride Flag and wrote inspirational quotes with chalk around the playground.

In Grade 1, we are learning to identify toys. To put theory into practice, we designed our own toys on paper, created them out of clay, and presented them to the class. Our goals during the presentation were to say at least two complete sentences and use a strong, confident voice.

The JK class is bursting with life as they have welcomed chicks, caterpillars and Dart the crested gecko into their classroom alongside their class pet Salt. It has been an exciting process watching the chicks hatch from eggs and seeing them grow so quickly. Fingers crossed the butterflies come soon!
