Using line and colour, grade 5 students created silhouettes

In honour of Diwali, the SK class worked alongside their Grade 5 learning buddies to decorate their own Diyas. They learned of the story of Diwali, and the bright light the Diyas burn in celebration! Thank you Ms. Chandani and Grade 5 for teaching us about Diwali!

Grade Four students are learning about Early Explorers and Indigenous Canada. Before we delve into this topic they learn about The Silk Road and the reasons behind exploration. We hope you like our mind maps.
