The JK’s went to Willowgrove farm to learn about apples, pumpkins and harvest. We made wonderful connections to our Inquiry unit! We took a tractor ride, made a scarecrow and did a pumpkin experiment. Did you know that pumpkins float?

After reading the story “The Name of the Tree” the grade one students retell and illustrate their favourite parts of the story using marker and watercolour.
