As an introduction to SK’s new subtraction unit, the cookie-loving Math Monster paid the class a visit. Lucky for SK, the Monster shared the cookies with the class, the more the Monster ate the less cookies it had!

Grade Four participated in a hands-on workshop called Human Impact on the Environment, at the Discovery Centre in Downsview Park. They expanded their knowledge of sustainability and had the opportunity to prune invasive plants, help spread seeds of much-needed plants and clean up the environment.
