This unit, the Junior Kindergarten class dove into the world of animals in French, sparking curiosity and linguistic growth in our young learners. From le chat to l’éléphant, their enthusiasm for exploration and language acquisition has been a blast. An especially fun part of this unit is learning how different animals move in French and exploring this movement in class. They are pictured here jumping like kangaroos.
Throughout this month, the Senior Kindergarten class learned about the school materials, people at school and life as a student of maternelle! From songs, dance, and games their engagement and progress in acquiring new vocabulary has been wonderful! They enjoyed walking around the room and exploring the classroom en français.
The Grade 1 class has been exploring pass times in French class. From jouer les sports to nager their excitement for learning and embracing new vocabulary in French has created a vibrant classroom. They have enjoyed playing games of charades and group board games to present their vocabulary in interactive ways.
