The junior French room was a buzz for Halloween! We spent a few days learning French vocabulary surrounding autumn and the Halloween season. Students had the opportunity to present their costumes in French to the class and share who they were celebrating with at home.To finish off the unit on numbers 0-20 the SK students played a few rounds of BINGO. Mme. Chandra called out the numbers in French and the students found them on their card to achieve 4 in a row for BINGO. They had a blast and enjoyed winning some fun stickers.The grade 1 class have completed their unit on school “je vais à l’école“. Their final project was a listening activity in which they followed the steps of a craft completely in French. With some great listening skills, we ended the class with 11 beautiful black cats!
