April has been Poetry Month at SBS, and in the library we’ve been taking advantage of poetic fun as much as possible! The month culminated in a full-school “Poem In Your Pocket Day.” In order that they could read and share their poems with confidence, the JKs and SKs each wrote their own poems – for their pockets – using, at base, their already mastered “magic words.”
Presto, magic: they became poets!
