In our first few weeks of JK, we have spent many meaningful moments with our Grade 6 Learning Buddies. From JK/SK Play day to weekly lessons where our learning buddies are teaching us to use the dice for board games, how to count the numbers, spending time reading with us and all the while making the JKs laugh and feel absolutely so comfortable. We are also grateful to the Grade 5s students because every week a couple Grade 5 students come in after lunch and spend time reading to the JKs. The older students are modeling so many important skills to the JKs.
