This month the Senior Kindergarten students are learning and practicing their French numbers up to 20! From counting pumpkins, spiders, and sunflowers, to playing “class parade”, the students have enjoyed exploring numbers in a fun and meaningful way. To end the unit, the students were asked to colour in the correct number with the correct colour and I was pleased to see their knowledge in action! Bravo SK!!
The Grade 1 class have finished their unit on food! Félicitations première année!! Their final presentations have been displayed on the bulletin board for the school to admire. Since completing the unit, the students have moved onto “je vais à l’école“, the I go to school unit. We look forward to exploring our school community en français.
The Junior Kindergarten class is in the midst of completing the family unit. They have been learning the different people that make up a family and their role in the family unit in French. The students have enjoyed pretending to be grandmas and grandpas and of course singing our songs.
