This month the Junior Kindergarten students are learning salutations as well as key phrases and words in French. Here they were playing a game in which they answered “oui” (yes) or “non” (no) to a question presented on the board. They had a blast answering Mme.Chandra’s silly questions.The Senior Kindergarten class are learning the members of a family in junior French class. Through games and songs, the students are able to identify family members and describe their own family. Here they are playing a game where they must stand if the person is “vieux” (old) or sit if they are “jeune” (young).The grade 1 class has been learning all about food in this unit! From fruits, vegetables, meals, snacks and more they have been learning how to discuss the foods they like and dislike. Here they are singing one of their favourite songs “Je suis une pizza” and showing me they do NOT like anchovies on their pizza.
